Have you ever wanted to join and dance the circle dance or other group dances at a Cambodian wedding or other event but felt unsure about how to move your hands and your feet? Here’s your chance to learn the moves you need to know to feel comfortable on the dance floor!
Instructors from the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association of Greater Lowell (CMAA) and Angkor Dance Troupe (ADT) will offer a free class to get you ready to feel comfortable dancing at the next CMAA gala or other Khmer event. You’ll learn the steps and hand movements of the Romvong (the circle dance) and the Madison Khmer line dance.
Wear comfortable clothes and be ready to take off your shoes (we’ll be on the 2nd floor of CMAA where the floor is carpeted).
We’ll have such fun!
