Explore the night skies with us!
Program will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Boott Cotton Mills Museum.
Spend the evening with us as we build star wheels and take a walk under the stars. We’ll explore the history of astronomy in Lowell and “human computers” who created the technology for us to explore space. Limited copies of the Junior Ranger Night Explorer activity guide will also be available.
Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a flashlight. This program is rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. Those who have their own telescopes are welcome to bring them!
This program is part of the Wellness on the Walkways Series. Join Lowell National Historical Park this year as we discover Lowell’s waterways at events that are part of our Wellness on the Walkways Series. Get outside and stay active with a variety of activities exploring the canalways and outdoor spaces around Lowell.
Attend a FREE program and receive your very own Wellness on the Walkways collectible button! Return for each program and collect them all.
