Pottery Classes with Lolita Demers

Lolita Demers, potter for 50 years and former teacher in the Lowell Public Schools, will teach one day a week for 5 weeks. Ten students grades 9-12.

(Tue, April 29, 3 to 4:30pm) Lesson 1: Nature and spring includes flower making.

(Tue, May 6, 3 to 4:30pm) Lesson 2: Fantasy creatures such as dragons, mermaids, or made up character of their own.

(Tue, May 13, 3 to 4:30pm) Lesson 3: Pinch pot animals or altered functional mug or bowl.

(Tue, May 20, 3 to 4:30pm) Lesson 4: Mask time allowing. May start glazing.

(Tue, May 27, 3 to 4:30pm) Lesson 5: Glazing pottery.
