Join us at Lowell National Park in the Boott Mills’ Counting House for a community discussion about our 2024 Lowell Reads book titles and our theme, The Language of Food: Community, Belonging, and the Stories We Tell. We will explore the importance of food in memories and in preserving culture, as well as the important role food plays in bringing communities together.
After the community discussion, we will break into groups to discuss the books we read. Following the discussion, please visit the One City, Many Cultures exhibit in the Mogan Cultural Center.
Offered by Pollard Memorial Library and Lowell National Historical Park as part of the 2024 Lowell City of Learning Festival, which is a project under the fiscal sponsorship of the Greater Lowell Community Foundation
