Loving to Hate New Music

Music is alive and evolving, and when it comes to classical music, the many different trends are as varied as human imagination. This lecture-performance, featuring the principal winds of the Lowell Chamber Orchestra, will guide audiences into the world of contemporary music by explaining some of the most popular and innovative sounds and techniques, and showcasing some iconic works that use them, to further understanding and appreciation.
