Cooking with Local Flavors: A Demo by Chef Kelcy with Mill City Grows ROOT Kitchen

October 19 @ 10:00 am 11:30 am EDT

Join us for an exciting and informative cooking demonstration during Lowell Learns Week! In collaboration with Chef Kelcy, Milly City Grows, and the Pollard Memorial Library, we invite you to the Root Kitchen on October 19th from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM for a special event celebrating local produce and culinary creativity.

Chef Kelcy will lead a live, demo-style presentation, preparing a delicious seasonal quinoa salad using fresh ingredients grown right here in Lowell, provided by Mill City Grows. During the event, Mill City Grows will share insights into the importance of local farming, sustainability, and how to get involved with community agriculture.

You’ll also have the chance to explore the Pollard Memorial Library’s Bookmobile, which will be parked on-site, featuring a curated collection of cookbooks, gardening guides, and more!

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn from a local chef, support local agriculture, and connect with the community.

This event is part of the 2024 Lowell City of Learning Festival, which is a project under the fiscal sponsorship of the Greater Lowell Community Foundation.
