Middlesex Community College runs a two-year biotechnology degree program that produces the largest number of biotechnology technician community college graduates in the State. The program runs in a highly renovated $3 million facility with 6,900 square feet for laboratory and classroom use. This space opened in the fall 2020. Program offerings include an associate’s degree in biotechnology and a biotechnology technician certificate. This program serves approximately 47% minority students as well as adult learners, veterans, and those looking for career retraining or workforce reentry.
